Full-Time Community Marketing Manager

• Manages and fosters connections with the community.
• Point of contact engaging via Slack, conferences, monthly calls, and at events.
• Encourages the community to connect with and support each other.
• Captures, recognizes, and amplifies successes and stories from the community.
• Identifies opportunities for community, project and organizational program growth and efficiencies.
• Builds and implements multi-channel community marketing campaigns.
• Leads community meetings, driving engagement and participation.
• Drive promotion and engagement for CNCF events.
• Focus on cost reduction and maximizing value.
• Coordinate with external agencies and internal partners as needed.
• Program engagement and impact reporting.

• 4-5 years of end user engagement, community marketing, or ecosystem development and marketing experience in an open source or enterprise software business
• Exceptional relationship building, communication skills, stakeholder management, and cross-functional engagement
• Must be familiar with the cloud native community
• Experience writing and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns
• Ability to manage changing priorities and major challenges
• Highly creative, composed, self-directed
• Exemplary organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
• Experience engaging with developers
• Community events management and strategy
• Adept at or holds Certifications in HubSpot: email marketing, digital marketing
• Experience with Canva required; experience with Asana preferred
• Ability to travel internationally
