Job Description
We’re looking for a technical and experienced Content Marketer to join the marketing team at Tailscale. As a content marketer, you will work closely with other members of the marketing team to bring to life stories about how Tailscale is building the new Internet. If you are keen to create high quality content for multiple platforms, read on.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with product marketing and growth marketing teams to identify, develop, and produce effective content
- Helping position Tailscale as a thought leader in networking and security, and increasing awareness of these issues through impactful content
- Creating not just content, but programs for content that can scale
Requirements
- Strong writing and editing skills background
- Experience managing content vendors and contractors
- Experience in on-page SEO optimization
- The ability to manage content development projects from start to finish independently
- Excellent people skills — this role will interact with many cross-functional teams and the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively will be critical to the success of this role
- Previous experience as a freelance writer, content writer, editor, copywriter, copy editor, or experience in journalism and/or media is preferred but not required

- Experience with solutions at B2B or enterprise technology companies
- Experience with security products used in SaaS or cloud environments
