Modernize Home Services is seeking a Content Manager to join our dynamic organic media team. This role is ideal for a creative and adaptable individual ready to contribute to diverse content execution and growth within our organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content production, copywriting, and digital marketing, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating compelling content across various platforms. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a team lead and various stakeholders, developing skills in content strategy and execution, audience analysis, campaign planning, and SEO.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation:
- Develop and write engaging social media posts, blog posts, web pages, and marketing copy.
- Adhere to specific brand guidelines and adapt the tone of voice based on the target audience.
- Content Strategy Execution:
- Execute the content strategy with opportunities to contribute to its development.
- Collaborate with the content lead, design team, front-end developers, and other marketing channels to ensure cohesive execution.
- Support efforts to enhance user experiences (UX) across our websites.
- Audience Analysis:
- Stay abreast of best practices and industry insights.
- Conduct surveys to gain insights across B2B and B2C audiences to support campaign strategies.
- Perform analysis for full-funnel metrics and performance using SEO Clarity and Google Analytics.
- Campaign Planning:
- Participate in setting SMART goals and gain exposure to timeline creation and performance tracking.
- Work closely with the team and manager to build skills in campaign planning.
- SEO and Analytics:
- Learn and apply SEO best practices.
- Utilize tools such as SEO Clarity, Google Analytics, and Tableau for content performance analysis.
Requirements
- Content Creation Skills:
- Strong copywriting skills.
- Interest in video marketing.
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn SEO best practices.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn Google Analytics, SEO Clarity, and Tableau.
- Collaboration and Communication:

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 USD to $70,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company's standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
