Senior Manager, Content Marketing will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the overall content strategy for our SaaS products.
You will lead the creation of engaging, high-quality content that drives awareness, generates leads, and supports the customer journey.
This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a focus on aligning content with business objectives and delivering value to our customers.
Responsibilities
Content Strategy Development
- Create & Own the Content Strategy: Develop and manage a comprehensive content strategy aligning with company goals, target audience, and buyer personas.
- Content Planning: Develop an editorial calendar outlining key themes, topics, and campaigns for consistent content creation across all channels.
- SEO Strategy: Collaborate with the SEO team to optimize content for search engines, ensuring discoverability and alignment with organic growth best practices.
- Brand Messaging: Ensure all content reflects the brand voice, tone, and messaging, creating a unified and compelling audience experience.
Content Creation & Optimization
- Lead Content Creation: Manage the creation of high-quality content (blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, eBooks, website copy, email campaigns, social media posts).
- Multimedia Content: Collaborate with design and multimedia teams to create engaging visual content (infographics, videos, slide decks) complementing written materials.
- Content Repurposing: Optimize and repurpose content across formats (e.g., blogs into webinars, eBooks into email sequences) to maximize reach and engagement.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor Campaign Success: Track campaign performance using KPIs (conversion rates, open rates, click-through rates, lead generation metrics).
- Report Insights: Provide regular reports on campaign performance, with actionable insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use data to inform copywriting strategies and campaign decisions, enhancing engagement and conversion.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team of content creators and copywriters, providing guidance, feedback, and support for high-quality content delivery.
- Content Governance: Ensure content creation adheres to brand guidelines, maintains quality, and remains consistent across all channels.
Experience: 5+ years in content strategy, content marketing, or similar role, ideally within SaaS or manufacturing. CPQ, PLM, and/or CAD experience a plus.
Content Expertise: Strong understanding of content creation, storytelling, and marketing techniques, with experience developing long-form and short-form content.
SEO Knowledge: Deep understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques for improved search engine visibility.
Project Management: Excellent project management skills, managing multiple content initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze content performance data and adjust strategies based on KPIs and metrics.
Communication Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills adapting content for various audiences and platforms.
Collaboration & Teamwork: Strong ability to work cross-functionally and lead collaborative initiatives with departments (sales, design, product).
