The Digital & Motion Designer will play a pivotal role within the Performance Creative department. Partnering with Creative Strategists, Designers, and vendors to collaborate concepts, produce creative work, and assist in art directing paid digital ads across multiple platforms.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, motion and graphic design skills, and creative vision to ensure that every asset is pixel-perfect, performance-optimized, and brand-aligned.
Responsibilities Include:
- Producing high-volume digital ads across platforms (Meta, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, Search).
- Developing motion and static creative assets (Adobe After Effects, Figma, Illustrator, Premiere, Blender).
- Creating pixel-perfect designs and meticulously QA assets.
- Championing client look and feel by maintaining style guides and creating pre-built templates.
- Ideating and setting the initial look for concepts.
- Presenting creative concepts to clients and receiving feedback.
- Sharing approved concepts, next steps, and direction to production team.
- Providing clear direction, feedback, and QA on deliverables to outside partners.
- Collaborating with Performance Creative Leads to execute digital ad campaigns, applying channel-specific principles.
- Developing and deploying operational processes to improve creative production.
- Leading production on the Agency side, understanding the process, and proactively problem-solving.
- Collaborating and problem-solving with Designers and PC Managers.
- Identifying training gaps and developing best practices/training documents.
- Creating brand guideline materials for clients.
- Escalating issues to leadership with solutions.
- Staying ahead of industry trends, using AI design tools to enhance production efficiency.
- Leading larger initiatives for creative evolution.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years experience in digital advertising (Performance Marketing preferred)
- 2+ years agency experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing innovative concepts
- Expert proficiency in motion design & digital production (Adobe, After Effects, Figma, Illustrator, Premiere, Photoshop)
- Deep knowledge of performance-focused ad design
- Exceptional typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills
- Strong project management capabilities
- Proven experience in briefing, managing, and QA'ing external partners
- Ability to translate brand guidelines into high-performing assets.
