Director of Brand & Communications is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and elevating the brand identity and communication strategies for Revalize and its portfolio of products. This role will manage and direct all internal and external communications and ensure all brand elements align with business goals and foster a positive reputation.
Requirements:
- Brand strategy and development: Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with business goals and enhances brand equity. Define brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity and ensure consistency across all touchpoints. Continuously evaluate and refine brand strategy based on feedback, performance data, and market trends.
- Creative strategies and direction: Lead the creative direction for all marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and marketing objectives. Oversee the development of creative concepts and assets across various channels and programs, including digital, video, and events.
- Corporate Communications: Leverage social platforms to engage stakeholders, share key messages, and manage the company’s online reputation. Craft effective internal communication strategies to engage employees, drive company culture, and ensure alignment with business goals. Create and implement crisis communication plans, manage media inquiries, and respond to emergencies swiftly, as needed. Work with C-suite executives to shape communication strategies and align messaging with corporate vision. Familiarity with tools and analytics to measure social engagement and track corporate communications effectiveness, including social listening and share of voice tracking.
- Public Relations: Develop PR strategies to build brand awareness and manage reputation. Oversee PR agency relationships.
- Budget management: Develop and manage the budget for brand and creative initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Partner with other functions to monitor spending and ROI, making data-driven recommendations for budget adjustments as needed.
- Team development: Design, build and lead a high-performing team. Foster a commitment to company values and culture.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in marketing, with a minimum of 2 years in marketing leadership roles within B2B/SaaS companies. 5+ years of experience in brand management, creative direction, and communications, with a proven track record of success in B2B brands across smaller startups and global brands. Background with leading creative agencies or significant experience marketing in technology, or fast-paced scale-up environments. Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding category and products, audiences and the competitive landscape.
- Skills: Excellent writing and editing skills for crafting press releases, speeches, internal memos, and other communications materials. Knowledge of top creative design & collaboration tools and digital platforms. Strong strategic thinking and creative skills with the ability to translate business goals into compelling brand narratives and content assets. Experience managing higher performing cross-functional teams and working closely with departments such as marketing, legal, and HR.
