Hims & Hers is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Business Operations to lead and scale its operations team. The role reports to the Senior Director of Strategy & Operations and plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless customer experience for both customers and providers. The Director will build out and scale the business operations team, oversee execution, drive initiatives for compliance, efficiency, and seamless experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own complex problems by building and scaling the business operations team
- Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Legal, Product, Marketing, and Analytics to develop innovative care models.
- Challenge the status quo by initiating and debating strategic topics.
- Build for scale by identifying, codifying, and implementing data-driven decision-making across the team. Set clear goals for a growing team.
- Proactively identify growth & optimization opportunities; collaborate cross-functionally to structure, measure, execute, and scale; driving adoption and knowledge.
- Lead a high-performing, diverse, responsive team; maintain a culture of excellence, growth, and fun.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 12+ years combined management consulting and growth startup experience, preferably in a GM or P&L management role at a high-growth DTC company or consumer marketplace.
- 5+ years experience hiring, managing, and developing high-performing cross-functional teams.
- Success in a highly strategic, analytical, and operations role within a rapidly growing company.
- Results and growth-oriented with a strong track record of ownership and goal delivery.
- Strong leadership capabilities and ability to initiate and maintain cross-functional relationships.
- Preference for thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, multi-task, and participate in team-based planning processes.
- Experience working remotely.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors' degree in Business, Operations, Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Leadership experience in rapidly scaling consumer tech and/or digital health companies.
