We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Director of Data & Analytics to join our dynamic, fast-paced boutique creative social and digital agency, help build our analytics team while supporting work for a leading health and technology client.
In this role, you will leverage data to provide actionable insights, assist the media team with advanced optimizations for maximizing campaign efficiency and performance, and drive data-informed decision-making around creative and audience development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of performance marketing platforms, advanced expertise in statistical modeling, proficiency with data visualization, knowledge of data privacy and HIPAA compliance, and the desire to build and lead a team of data and analytics specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the Marketing Analytics department, partnering with marketing & creative teams to align analytics with overall service offering.
- Work closely with clients to understand their objectives and provide strategic consultation regarding measurement, tracking and data privacy, to ensure media delivery is attributed to clients’ business outcomes.
- Oversee the collection, integration, and analysis of data from various marketing channels, including digital, social, email, and offline campaigns.
- Develop full-funnel measurement frameworks and track performance to inform optimizations at each stage of the customer journey.
- Design and implement structured testing methodologies, including A/B and multivariate testing, to optimize audience, channel, tactic, and creative performance.
- Develop advanced statistical models to identify trends, attribute campaign performance, forecast campaign targets, and drive overall media efficiency.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights that inform marketing strategies.
- Create and manage dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and clients in a clear and compelling manner.
- Ensure all data analysis and storage practices comply with relevant regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Assist clients with navigating HIPAA compliance challenges associated with marketing tracking and data collection.
Experience Required:
8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Advanced proficiency in statistical modeling and proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Excel).
Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
Strong understanding of data privacy laws and compliance requirements.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to manage and inspire a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working within a digital marketing agency is a plus.
Salary Range: Depending upon experience, salary range is between $125,000 - $150,000. All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
