Full-Time Director of Accounting

We are seeking a Director of Accounting for a fully remote role supporting US GAAP, IFRS and M& A support. In this role, you will be overseeing the accounting functions and integration efforts, leading the finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and integrating the accounting systems and books of acquired companies.

Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the finance and accounting teams, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including month-end and year-end close processes, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis.
• Implement best practices and controls to safeguard financial assets and optimize financial performance.
• Use your deep knowledge of SAP to optimize the company's financial systems and processes, driving efficiencies and scalability.
• Lead the integration of accounting systems and books of acquired companies into the corporate infrastructure, ensuring seamless consolidation and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement standardized accounting procedures and workflows across the organization.
• Serve as a key financial advisor in M& A transactions, providing insights and recommendations on accounting and financial considerations.
• Lead the integration of acquired companies' accounting functions, systems, and processes, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and objectives.
• Coordinate with external advisors and internal stakeholders to streamline integration efforts and achieve synergy targets.
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the finance organization.

Requirements

Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience 
SAP 
CPA
US GAAP and IFRS
