Director of Ecommerce will manage and enhance the performance and user experience of Truewerk's direct-to-consumer ecommerce platform to drive revenue growth. This role balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive ecommerce strategy.
- Oversee and optimize the Shopify Plus platform.
- Manage website development and operations (UX/UI, merchandising, technical performance).
- Develop a digital merchandising strategy.
- Collaborate with performance marketing on landing pages, promotions.
- Lead A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
- Work with Operations on forecasting and assortment planning.
- Create and maintain reporting dashboards.
Requirements:
- 7-10+ years ecommerce experience (DTC or retail)
- Expertise in Shopify Plus
- Experience with tangible goods (apparel, outdoor, etc.)
- Proven ability to develop and execute a site roadmap
- Understanding of ecommerce best practices, trends, and technologies
- Strong analytical skills (Google Analytics, Shopify, Klaviyo, etc.)
- Experience with digital merchandising tools (Searchspring, RetentionX)
