We seek a Director of HR & Employee Development to establish and optimize HR strategies for growth, ensuring engagement and compliance, while fostering a positive employee experience.
About the Role As the Director of HR & Employee Development, you lead all HR aspects including talent acquisition, onboarding, culture, employee engagement, and compliance for our global workforce. A key focus is developing strategies for employee growth, career advancement, and leadership development in a remote environment. Experience building employee engagement strategies for a fully remote, multi-country team is essential. You'll ensure employees stay connected, motivated, and supported, while equipping leaders with tools for effective team management.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Strategy & Compliance Develop, implement, and refine HR policies aligned with a remote, high-growth SaaS environment. Optimize HR processes for efficiency, compliance, and scalability. Ensure compliance with Canadian employment laws. Implement HR tech solutions for streamlining people operations, reporting, and analytics.
- Culture & Employee Experience Design and implement strategies for a strong, connected culture in a remote environment. Build engagement programs enhancing team collaboration, communication, and satisfaction. Partner with leadership for initiatives reinforcing company values, maintaining morale, and creating a thriving remote workplace.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Oversee and optimize recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes. Ensure a seamless onboarding experience. Partner with hiring managers to align talent strategies with business needs.
- Employee Development Develop learning and development programs supporting employee growth and career progression. Establish career pathing, leadership development, and mentorship programs. Coach and train managers on team development, performance coaching, and engagement.
- Compensation, Benefits Work with leadership to maintain a competitive compensation structure aligned with market trends. Oversee benefits administration, seeking new ways to support employee well-being in a remote environment.
