This role is remotely based in Los Angeles, CA but will support the Mauna Lani Resort along Hawai'i Kohala Coast. Expected travel is 2-3 times per quarter to the property.
As the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies that align with the company's overall objectives.
This role requires a creative thinker with a proven track record of building brand presence, managing integrated marketing campaigns, and fostering effective communication both internally and externally.
Develop and implement the overall marketing and communication strategy to enhance brand visibility and drive business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and align marketing initiatives with business goals.
Oversee the development of engaging content for various channels, including digital, social media, press releases, and internal communications.
Manage public relations efforts, building and maintaining relationships with media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders.
The Director of Marketing & Communications role offers a base salary range of $145-165k plus an annual bonus as well as comprehensive medical, dental, vision and voluntary benefits, 401k employer match, employer paid life insurance and an employee assistance program and a team member hotel stay program. This compensation is based on candidate experience and qualifications.
Requirements:
- 10+ years as a Director of Marketing within a luxury segment
- Proven experience in a senior marketing and communications role with a track record of developing and executing successful campaigns
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- Experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation
- Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and stay ahead of industry trends
