You’ll be focused on leading the second pillar of our Integrated Marketing function: Marketing Strategy & Operations, the engine that keeps our marketing org running smoothly and aligned to business goals. As the Director of Marketing Operations, you’ll act as a key partner to the Chief Commercial Officer, supporting strategic planning and performance reporting with the Data Science team, and serving as the go-between for Marketing Operations and Commercial leadership. From campaign tooling and project resourcing to workflow design and budgeting, you and our small but mighty team will ensure that projects stay on track, resources are well-utilized, and the org is empowered to deliver great work at scale.
In this role, you’ll:

- Partner cross-functionally with sales, finance, and IT to align on data, reporting, and technology needs, including compliance with data governance requirements.
- Insights & Tooling — in partnership with the Data team (R&D):

- Maintain key marketing metrics (ROI, pipeline contribution, etc)
- Act as the key link between Marketing Ops & Commercial leadership to align on business impact and performance tracking
- Own, implement, and maintain tooling for campaign execution, creative workflows, lead scoring, and analytics, with a long-term view to expand scope into CRM and attribution
- Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
- Improve and standardize cross-functional workflows and best practices – ensuring clear communication, and alignment across teams including creative, marketing, legal, as well as external partners and agencies
- Implement project management best practices, tools, and processes to ensure smooth project execution from brief to delivery
- Continuously improve on those processes, implement automations, and create playbooks that enable the team to scale and self-serve
- Budget & Resource Management
- Own the marketing budget: forecasting, reporting, and optimization – working closely with our Director of FP&A partner
- Track spend and performance across teams and channels
- Help us make tradeoffs between time, money, and people – ensuring resources are appropriately applied in service of delivering on our org goals
- Leadership & Overseeing PMs and Producers
- Lead and mentor a team of mid to senior level producers and operations specialists
- Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented culture that empowers teams to do their best work
Skill you’ll bring:
- 12+ years of experience in marketing ops, revenue ops, or a similar role within a complex organization
- Proven expertise with industry-standard and emerging tools (e.g. Braze, High Touch, Segment, Salesforce, Dovetail, ad buying platforms, Asana, etc.)
- Strong judgment, clear communication skills, and the confidence to push back when needed (with kindness)
- A systems thinker with a strong bias toward simplification
- A maker-owner mindset; takes initiative and thrives in fast-paced, ever-evolving environments - comfortable navigating ambiguity
- A collaborative leader who inspires teams, resolves conflicts, and drives work forward
- Experienced in leading complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable collaborating across marketing, sales, finance, and IT
