Location: Reston, VA / 100% Remote
Duration: 2 months + (covering a temp on medical leave)
Pay Range: $42 - 45/hr W2 (No Benefits)
Range Profile: This role requires someone with experience in printing production, understanding vendors, printing project timelines, and the lifecycle of print development. Strong project management skills are essential for large, challenging scenarios, with meticulous time management, attention to detail, and quantitative analysis. The ideal candidate possesses flexibility, adaptability, a positive and generous attitude, and is self-motivated. Quick onboarding and participation are desired.
About the Opportunity: As the temporary Director of Print Management, you will ensure students requiring paper accommodations are properly supported through the creation and production of printed materials needed throughout all aspects of College Readiness and AP assessments. You will also support quality activities for user acceptance testing of material requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Publication development tracking (40%)
- Print Job Management (30%)
- Internal and Vendor Quality Support (30%)
About You:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years print/customized publications production experience
- Experience with secure transfer protocols (SFTP, cloud-based, etc.) preferred
- Strong process design experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Excellent communication (writing, speaking, presentation)
- Strong organizational, time & task management skills
- Ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to new methods, situations, and requirements
