What Does a Director, Strategic Planning Do?Acting as the voice of the customer at EVERSANA INTOUCH, the Planning Director is a strategic leader-practitioner for assigned brands. Collaborative and data-driven, they synthesize information, translate findings into insights, and influence clients and internal teams to drive change.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work with account and creative partners to understand client needs.
- Utilize analytical skills to synthesize information, identify insights, and develop strategic conclusions.
- Translate insights to fuel strategic communication and creative development.
- Understand customer behavior across channels and brands' role in the customer journey.
- Establish relationships with cross-functional experts to leverage their expertise.
- Develop and articulate strategies for innovative work (brand, patient/caregiver/HCP journeys, multichannel plans).
- Establish expertise in pharma, brands, audiences, trends and landscape.
- Connect digital to all aspects of the business to drive growth.
- Lead multi-discipline teams with data-driven marketing strategies.
- Shepherd strategies through development to creative output.
- Lead internal and client-facing workshops.
- Manage multiple projects and assignments.
- Lead, influence, and negotiate across disciplines to drive focused agendas.
What Are We Looking For?
- Extensive experience within the Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry, with advertising agency experience preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of planning and strategic communication experience.
- Entrepreneur mindset
- Deep understanding of digital channels and related disciplines (CRM, social media).
- Proven ability to develop and implement digital multichannel strategies.
- Strong digital and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills.
- Highly collaborative, a quick learner, and passionate about execution.
- Ability to manage relationships across all levels.
- Humble, hardworking, curious, and committed to continuous learning.
Compensation: $119,000 - $176,000 (USD).
