Full-Time Director, UX Research

We're hiring a Director of UX Research to join our world-class UX Research team.

About the Role

As Director of UX Research, you'll lead a high-performing team, uncovering customer insights for strategic product decisions and measurable business impact. You'll own the research roadmap for Smartsheet's Enterprise work management and administration capabilities (Portfolio Management, Resource Management, Security, Administration). You'll mentor and grow researchers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and grow a team of UX researchers.
• Build a deep understanding of our product, customers, and business.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, and GTM stakeholders.
• Define and drive high-impact research initiatives.
• Synthesize UX research with data sources to identify patterns and opportunities.
• Translate complex findings into actionable recommendations.
• Present insights and drive discussions with stakeholders.
• Build and optimize scalable research programs and best practices.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of UX research experience on digital products, including 5+ years in leadership.
• Proven track record of delivering research driving business outcomes.
• Expertise in quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Success building and scaling research programs.
• Experience with B2B products supporting business productivity or processes.
