As a valued colleague, you will provide expert advice and guide the team in assessing and identifying potential risks threatening reputation, safety, security, and/or financial success. Participate with stakeholders across the enterprise and guide the team in understanding business objectives.
The Enterprise Analytics and Modeling - Risk Management - Lead Associate role joins the Model Governance Solutions (MGS) team.
Responsibilities:
- Execute tactical elements of governance compliance for AI and machine learning (ML).
- Be part of the team responsible for program management and oversight for 1st LoD AI/ML risk management.
- Prepare and facilitate AI council and working group meetings.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure activities associated with AI/ML regulatory guidance occur.
- Work with MGS team to ensure activities within the enterprise AI/ML Risk Management Standard occur.
- Identify heightened risks, controls, and value of prospective AI/ML use cases.
- Create and sustain a comprehensive AI/ML use case intake process with Enterprise Architecture.
- Maintain inventory of AI use cases, review/approval evidence, and associated documentation.
- Partner with Model Risk Management and other functions (legal) on requisite review and effective challenge of new AI/ML use cases.
- Ensure execution of control activities as articulated in the enterprise AI/ML strategy with subject-matter experts and strategic leaders.
- Develop and deliver training content and socialization about AI/ML risk processes and controls.
- Guide team in preparing analyses and reports to determine business risks and evaluate the impact of proposed risks.
- Lead team in monitoring information and processes to reduce risk using rigorous analysis.
- Document resolutions and control guidelines.
- Review business strategies to make decisions driving success in the face of shifting consumer behaviors and regulations.
Required Experience:
- 4+ years of risk management, governance, or AI/ML experience.
Skills:

- Gathering accurate information and explaining concepts.

Desired Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 4+ years risk management experience, with 1+ year in model risk management.
- Experience in AI/ML model development, deployment, and management practices, policies, frameworks.
- Execution track record, strong prioritization, and team leadership ability.
- Strong relationship management skills to partner with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong oral/written communication skills (explaining complex processes).
- Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries.
