The Event and Communications Lead will play a critical role in amplifying Xplor Education's brand presence, driving retention, managing strategic communications, and delivering high-impact events that engage customers, prospects, and sector partners.
This position requires a highly organized, strategic thinker with exceptional interpersonal, project management, and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and evaluate in-person and virtual events (trade shows, webinars, customer summits, industry conferences).
- Develop event strategies and objectives aligned with overall marketing and business goals.
- Manage event logistics (venue selection, vendor management, budget tracking, post-event analysis).
- Deepen engagement with existing customers through events and digital communications.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to meet lead generation and brand awareness targets.
- Support the Marketing Team by owning and driving Product release and Product Marketing Communications.
- Plan and implement social media and communication campaigns to grow customer reach (social media manager).
- Create compelling event materials (invitations, landing pages, promotional content).
- Collaborate with the Copywriting and Design team to develop blog posts, case studies, and whitepapers.
- Ensure all materials adhere to brand guidelines and resonate with target audiences.
- Partner with product, sales, and customer success teams for aligned messaging.
- Prepare presentations, speeches, and other communication materials.
Hybrid and Flexible Work Model: 2-3 days per week in the office.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 3-5 years' experience in event management, communications, or similar role (ideally B2B SaaS or technology).
- Proven success in planning and executing events that drive business results.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with event management tools (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) and marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
- Strong project management skills, managing multiple priorities.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in measuring and reporting on ROI for events and communications campaigns.
