At Aptem, we're seeking an experienced Events & Marketing Manager to plan and deliver virtual and in-person events (UK), including our annual customer conference. This role also executes generalist marketing campaigns.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and own the events strategy.
- End-to-end event management.
- Shape and maintain the events calendar.
- Develop content and liaise with speakers/presenters.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and venues.
- Oversee branded assets and giveaways.
- Event promotion via social, email, and website.
- Guest list management and communications.
- Post-event activities to maximise ROI.
- Support generalist marketing activities.
Events Include:
- Aptem-hosted product training webinars.
- Customer roundtables and events.
- Large in-person customer conferences.
- External conferences and exhibitions.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- 5+ years managing B2B events.
- Experience with webinar platforms (GoToWebinar, Teams).
- Budget management and negotiation skills.
- Copywriting skills.
- Office 365 proficiency.
- Social media platform experience (LinkedIn).
- Degree in Events Management, Marketing, or related field.
Desirable:
- Experience with Pardot, Salesforce, or similar CRMs.
- Experience with Canva or other design tools.
- Video editing skills.
