POSITION OVERVIEW The Executive Assistant reports directly to and works closely with the CEO of the International Living Future Institute (Living Future), a dynamic, mission-driven non-profit organization. The Executive Assistant supports the CEO in all aspects of her work to allow her to focus on key priorities and serves as the liaison to the Living Future Board of Directors.
A successful Executive Assistant will be:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide right-hand support to the CEO, handling a broad variety of tasks.
- Manage an active calendar, prioritizing requests and troubleshooting conflicts.
- Support fundraising and relationship management, specifically using Salesforce.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external parties.
- Research, prioritize, and determine appropriate course of action.
- Serve as the internal responsible party for All Staff Meetings.
- Act as a "barometer," keeping the CEO updated on environmental issues.
- Arrange travel plans, itineraries, and agendas, and complete expense reports.
- Serve as a liaison to the Board of Directors, scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and recording minutes.
- Ensure process adherence and the execution of the board work plan.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 5+ years experience in a nonprofit or sustainability-focused organization.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate complicated calendars (Expert Google Calendar skills).
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Drive, Docs).
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms (dashboards and advanced functions).
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Experience working with virtual teams and remote workplaces.
- Broad knowledge of green building, CSR, and DEI issues.
- Living Future Accreditation (candidates supported in achieving this).
