Full-Time Expert 3Cs Engineer

• Focusing on the 3Cs of Character, Camera, and Controls, the person in this role will work closely with designers, animators, and other engineers on system prototyping and implementation.
• Develop and implement systems in engine in a multiplayer environment, using C++ and Blueprints.
• Communicate and collaborate across departments as it pertains to 3Cs systems.
• Follow the code quality standards set by the team.
• Collaborate across disciplines in achieving the overall vision of the game.
• Solicit and incorporate feedback from team members regarding existing systems.
• Proven success in creating compelling and innovative 3Cs systems in AAA 3rd person, multiplayer games.
• Thorough understanding of core 3C concepts such as camera behaviors, state machines, character movement systems, animations, and controls accessibility.
• Extensive knowledge of current game titles, as well as movies and other visual arts, to use as reference for crafting and communicating original ideas.
• The ability to communicate fluently with engineering, art, narrative and production.
• Curiosity, kindness, and a positive and professional can-do attitude.

• Unreal Engine 5 experience
