• Look-Development: Conduct look-development and break down high-bar visual goals.
• Prototyping: Prototype, test, and extend rendering systems within Unreal Engine 5.
• Research: Research emerging trends in rendering technology.
• Maintenance: Maintain visual coherence across scalability targets.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve rendering and performance challenges.
• Collaboration: Collaborate on GPU budgets and content memory allocations.
• Development: Develop test gyms and unit tests for optimized content.
• Support: Ensure systemic alignment across disciplines.
• Mentoring: Guide the art team on best practices for world-building and rendering.

• 7+ years of experience in real-time graphics.
• Strong understanding of GPU workflows in Unreal Engine 5.
• Experience developing shaders and materials.
• Proficiency in HLSL, GSL, or other shader languages.
• Experience with C++ or Python for tools.
• Node-based shading systems.
• DirectX 12 familiarity.
• Scalable lighting pipeline experience.
• Profiling tools experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Initiative and problem-solving skills.
