SUMMARY: The Warehouse Marketing Support (WMS) Manager will raise awareness of the Costco Auto Program at Costco Warehouses. This role builds relationships in assigned territories through virtual/onsite meetings. The WMS Manager independently educates key management on program events, updates, and market trends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independently manage territory and relationships, oversee marketing improvement and brand awareness.
- Develop a marketing plan for assigned territories to increase program visibility and member awareness.
- Manage and schedule own travel; travel to warehouse locations within territory at least 26 weeks per year.
- Develop ways to market new products into an area with correlating campaigns.
- Develop relationships with client’s decision makers.
- Stay abreast of client’s current goals and objectives.
- Understand how client’s customers interact to enhance engagement and visibility.
- Continuous education on product knowledge and events.
- Understand how competitors relate to customers by researching them.
- Analyze and report pertinent data to key managers to assist with strategic direction.
- Maintain superior client service to increase support of objectives.
- Plan and conduct virtual/onsite educational presentations.
- Interact with clients to assess needs, present solutions, and manage marketing awareness processes.
- Collaborate on current trends, opportunities, and goals.
- Document all aspects of the warehouse file in the company’s internal CRM.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree, or minimum of three (3) years of related experience. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Able to travel 26+ weeks per year. May be required to travel Mon-Friday, 2 weeks out of each month. Ability to navigate virtual meetings. Ability to overcome client objections. Ability to communicate effectively. Friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and professional appearance. Excellent organizational skills. Proficient in MS Office. Excellent follow-up skills, detail-oriented, and efficient. Excellent time management. Able to present content logically. Flexible and works well in a team. Self-motivated, able to work independently. Able to plan long term and execute smaller goals. Display strong organizational skills while independently scheduling and traveling. Continually strives to improve skills and knowledge. Has a Valid Driver’s License. Requires 50% overnight travel, typically by plane. Lifting (up to 50lbs)
