Role Overview: We are looking for a Finance and Administrative Assistant to support our daily finance and administrative operations. The role includes managing payments, assisting with treasury tasks, supporting HR-related processes, and coordinating with external accountants. This is a remote role suited for someone proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment. Candidates must be based in Lisbon or the surrounding area, as occasional in-person meetings or document handling may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage payments to suppliers, service providers, and employees.
- Monitor cash balances and assist with treasury control and planning.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts and digital payment platforms to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain and update internal tracking systems for payments, invoices, and cash flow.
- Coordinate with external accounting and payroll providers to ensure timely delivery of required information and documents.
- Support HR-related tasks such as onboarding documentation, leave tracking, and personnel file management.
- Assist in compiling documentation for audits and financial reporting.
- Handle administrative support tasks related to finance, contracts, and compliance.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in finance, accounting support, or administrative roles.
- Solid understanding of payment processing, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Comfortable using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks autonomously.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Administration, or a related field.
- Residence in Lisbon or Greater Lisbon area.
