Your Role: As a Fixed Income Trader & Operations Associate II, you will be responsible for all aspects of the firm's fixed income product offering. This includes buying and selling U.S. Treasuries Bonds, Bills, and Corporate Bonds. You will also help build the product offering and operational structure, including regulatory reporting, client communication, and project activities.
Responsibilities:
- Trader/Operational Subject Matter Expert overseeing the Fixed Income Product Offering.
- Manage day-to-day operations (trade execution, clearing, settlements, corporate actions).
- Partner with internal and external teams (trading, operations, execution venues, custodians) to create workflow documentation.
- Streamline trading and operational workflows using technology.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement.
- Partner with Compliance to ensure regulatory adherence and procedures.
Who You Are (Requirements):
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the fixed income industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of fixed income (trading, regulatory requirements, operational processes).
- Proven experience with clearing and settling Fixed Income products (especially through FICC).
- Proficient in SQL and Google Suite; additional data analysis/workflow tools helpful.
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Series SIE, 99, and 57 licenses (preferred but not required).
