Brightspeed is seeking a Forecaster to join our team. In this role, you will manage work streams and resources impacting appointment offerings. The forecast system develops and maintains models for the Network workforce, leveraging business intelligence and data from multiple sources. The Forecast Team bridges the Field Network and Field Management across all Regions. Implementation and detailed modeling of the Forecast System are key responsibilities. This role leads discussions with respective market and product teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating statistical forecasts in the Forecasting Tool, incorporating resource data to predict employee resources and supply chain needs for customer demand.
- Gathering, analyzing, and validating data.
- Executing statistical modeling and data reviews.
- Evaluating forecast models and plans.
- Reaching consensus on operational demand forecasts through collaborative planning and strong relationships among planners and Field Management.
- Applying error analysis to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Summarizing aggregate statistical forecasts.
- Recommending adjustments for operational forecasts.
- Preparing materials for research and discussion.
- Contributing to volume planning (Latest Estimates annual process).
- Facilitating and managing demand planning customer meetings.
- Achieving consensus with business and demand chain teams.
- Maintaining demand planning systems and the Forecast Tool.
- Entering, modifying, and validating data.
- Monitoring forecast error trends.
- Preparing and maintaining demand planning process reports.
- Refining systems and methods to enhance forecast accuracy in meeting customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and TEAMS.
- Experience working in a consultative manner, including establishing rapport, fact-finding, presenting options, recommending solutions, and follow-up.
- Prior experience in a multi-tasking, results-oriented, deadline-driven business environment.
