About the Role:Voldex is looking for an experienced Game Producer to ensure timely content delivery for a top-performing Roblox game. Producers partner closely with art, design, engineering, testing, etc. to keep updates on time and within scope. Knowing how to identify, communicate, and mitigate risks is vital. The Producer owns the 'when' in product development. They focus on making the team more effective in delivering the end product.
What You'll Do:
- Project Management: Establishes a 60-90 day project schedule, tracks velocity, ensures scope/capacity changes are understood by stakeholders.
- Coordinates with central teams (Art, QA) to ensure capacity and timelines are met.
- Evaluates & improves processes/tools.
- Delivery & Release Management: Maintains project management tools, manages daily operations, prioritizes tasks, schedules and tracks to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Orders and evaluates assets, schedules QA support.
- Manages QA places, partners with marketing for material updates (icons, thumbnails), organizes and directs on-call processes, schedules release retrospectives.
Communication & Community: Owns release updates, monitors community feedback and surfaces key themes to relevant individuals. Completes documentation for weekly numbers reviews.
Content & Design: Ensures game design documents are accurately translated into asset requests. Maintains platform knowledge, understanding competitors and trends (Roblox, Fortnite, Minecraft). Reviews art assets and provides feedback, adds content (cosmetics), provides game design feedback, completes basic game edits in Roblox Studio.
What You Bring to the Team: Demonstrated success in Roblox/Minecraft/Fortnite game production (at least 1-2 years). Experience shipping full games, features, or live-service content. Knowledge of the Roblox platform and ecosystem. Firm grasp of industry best practices. Ability to build, track, and maintain complex schedules. History of collaborating with cross-discipline teams.
Bonus Points: Expertise with Project Management tools (Monday.com, Jira), experience with live games (GaaS), and managing remote teams.
