Job Description
Preparation and posting of journals in SAP for assigned entities in accordance with local GAAP, IFRS, and Group Reporting policies and SLAs.
Ensure timely month-end closing and meeting Group deadlines.
Validate and correctly post intercompany postings in SAP, reconcile IC balances monthly.
Coordinate with stakeholders for complete and timely financial data entries.
Collaborate with Regional/Central teams for in-depth analysis of Financial Statements and Consumer Reconciliations.
Maintain SL vs GL reconciliations, resolve reconciling items or escalate delays.
Address in-market queries, post accounting adjustments as required.
Support Group audit reviews, local Statutory audits, and internal audits.
Standardize, automate, and streamline financial reporting processes to improve efficiency.
Perform other related tasks assigned by the Lead/Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred).
CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
Demonstrable knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Hands-on experience with finance systems (SAP/Oracle, SAP experience a plus).
2+ years of General Ledger closing experience.
Experience in a relevant field (professional accounting services firm or shared service center).
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills, bridging language barriers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
