The Compliance Coordinator provides high-level administrative and coordination support to the Global Compliance & Business Ethics function. This role ensures efficient handling of compliance-related processes, manages communications, facilitates reporting, and supports project tracking and data management.
The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:
- Managing administrative tasks such as paying invoices, registering for webinars and seminars
- Organizing business travel for the Global Legal Counsel
- Assisting on Compliance reporting
- KPI monitoring for the Global Compliance functions from Regional and Country Compliance resources
- Managing Effectiveness controls from Compliance Investigation Process
- Supporting tasks to manage the Whistleblowinghotline (SGS Integrityhelpline)
- Preparing yearly compliance statistics for Executive Committee meetings
- Compiling statistics for the Annual Integrity eLearning to be presented to the Executive Committee
- Preparing data for the Annual Report and Sustainability Report
- Coordinating translations of the Annual Integrity Training and the Integrity Code
- Maintaining and updating the Global Integrity Hub
Requirements:
- Proven experience in administrative or coordination roles, ideally within a legal, compliance, or corporate governance environment
- Ideally 1-2 years experience in Compliance function or studying Corporate Compliance / Ethics
- Ideally starter in the fields of Compliance and willingness to develop
- Fluent in English; additional languages such as French or German are a plus
- Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise across levels and functions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with reporting tools and corporate systems (e.g., BOSS or similar ERP/expense tools)
- Strong writing and document formatting capabilities
- Ability to work independently while remaining an effective team player
- Experience working in an international and multicultural environment is an asset
