Job Details

At Rome2Rio and Omio, we’re launching a premium advertising business connecting our global audience with top travel brands.

We seek a Head of Ad Operations & Account Management to build and lead ad operations. You'll report directly to the Managing Director, Advertising, and work across teams to enhance execution, improve delivery, and elevate client experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Own end-to-end campaign execution (display, native, sponsored).
  2. Manage tools & workflows (Google Ad Manager, programmatic platforms, direct deals).
  3. Oversee rate management, pacing, billing, and internal deal tracking.
  4. Lead post-sale client management & drive renewals.
  5. Build scalable processes and SLAs across sales, ops, and product.
  6. Manage relationships with external partners (e.g., trafficking support, analytics tools).
  7. Partner with Legal, Finance, Product, and Sales to ensure delivery.
  8. Identify tooling gaps and collaborate with Product/Engineering.
  9. Standardize reporting and support dashboard development.
  10. Manage Ad Ops Manager and support team growth.

Qualifications:

  • 7–10 years in digital media, ad operations, or campaign delivery.
  • Experience in leading or managing teams (3+ years preferred).
  • Experience running or scaling ad operations.
  • Deep knowledge of trafficking, reporting, and campaign delivery.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • A systems thinker, bringing order and insight to complexity.
  • Pride in execution, quality, and team success.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Google Ad Manager, programmatic platforms, or native ad tools.
  • Familiarity with performance marketing metrics and reporting tools.
  • Exposure to media planning, rate cards, or sales enablement.
  • Supporting both direct and programmatic campaigns.
  • Background in travel, tourism, or international markets.
  • Comfort working across multiple time zones and fast-moving teams.
  • Fluency in languages beyond English.
