We are seeking an experienced and versatile Head of Analytics to lead our new Analytics Department. This pivotal role supports multiple departments, including Research, Software Engineering, Business Development, Compliance, and others, to provide insightful analysis and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and Lead the Analytics Department: Build, mentor, manage a high-performing analytics team. Develop department processes aligning with company objectives for efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with Research, Software Engineering, Business Development, Compliance, and other teams to identify needs and provide solutions.
- System Analysis and Problem Solving: Conduct comprehensive system analysis, address novel problems arising from interactions with brokers, exchanges, regulators.
- External Interaction Management: Liaise with external partners to understand their systems, requirements, and protocols, navigating regulatory environments to ensure compliance.
- Communication, Presentation, and Documentation: Translate complex findings into clear insights and documentation for diverse stakeholders.
- Foster Positive Working Relationships: Provide exceptional support and service to internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of analytical experience and 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven leadership experience building, managing, and mentoring teams.
- Experience in system analysis and problem-solving.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python. Familiarity with other programming languages, data analysis tools. Strong understanding of exchange technologies, market structures, trading systems, regulatory compliance and industry standards.
Leadership and Soft Skills: Team leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving and communication/presentation skills. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive and innovative mindset.
