In your role as Head of Marketing, you will lead the Rank Math marketing team to maximize revenue growth, drive customer acquisition and retention, and enhance brand awareness. You will oversee a team of 5 marketing experts in the fields of SEO & content, video creation and communication.

In this position, you will report directly to the VP of Marketing for the WordPress Ecosystem.

We all work remotely, and ideally you should live in a time zone between GMT+3 to GMT-5. We are so curious to know which new country will be added to our distributed team map! 🌍

What You Will Be Doing:

1. Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan that directly aligns with and supports sales and revenue growth objectives, focusing on increasing brand awareness, driving user acquisition, and boosting customer retention
2. Design and execute high-impact, data-driven marketing campaigns across various channels, including content marketing, email marketing, and ads, with a clear focus on generating sales
3. Optimize user onboarding experiences and customer journey to enhance user satisfaction and product adoption
4. Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring a strong return on investment
5. Lead and mentor a talented marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity and growth
6. Collaborate with the affiliate and partnerships team to provide product insights and enhance positioning and messaging leading to more sales
7. Continuously analyze market trends, competitor activities, the WordPress ecosystem and user feedback to inform marketing strategies
8. Monitor and report on key performance metrics, presenting findings and recommendations

What Do You Need To Excel at This Job:

• Proven International Tech Marketing Expertise: Demonstrated success in marketing SaaS/tech/ecommerce products on a global scale, with a track record of achieving results
• SEO Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of SEO, enabling you to effectively address the needs of our SEO expert audience and adapt our marketing strategies to boost user engagement and satisfaction
• Effective Communication Skills: Exceptional proficiency in written and verbal communication in English
• Data-Driven Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills, with the capability to gather and interpret data for informed strategic choices
• Inspiring Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire, motivate, and empower teams to accomplish ambitious objectives
• Innovative and Creative Thinking: A creative mindset coupled with a fervor for technology and a drive for innovation
