We’re looking for a Head of Paid Growth to drive our international paid media strategy and sustain 2-3X annual growth.
Reporting to the CMO, you’ll strategise, execute, and optimise go-to-market strategies, market launches and marketing campaigns across all paid channels to maximise ROAS.
The ideal candidate has deep paid acquisition expertise, creativity driving innovative growth strategies, and a love for long-term strategic visioning and hands-on execution.
This role will own our largest acquisition channels at a significant business inflection point to drive rapid growth.
Key responsibilities
- Own full funnel paid growth.
- Develop, execute, iterate, and refine comprehensive international media buying plans and market launch tactics that work, optimising customer acquisition, retention, and ROAS.
- Design and run experiments on channels, technologies, creative, and audiences: move fast, iterate, and learn quickly.
- Optimise every aspect of our funnel alongside our product and marketing teams.
- Leverage competitive benchmarking, trend monitoring, and industry expertise to identify innovation and optimisation opportunities across our media mix.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to develop and refine long-term strategies for business development, marketing, and product.
- Manage agencies and freelancers, channel partnerships, and media relationships to complement your execution.
- Forecast, reconcile, and responsibly manage our marketing budgets.
- Build dashboards to track and analyse performance, and report progress and action plans accurately and promptly to Marketing and Leadership.
What we’re looking for
- Experience launching, running, and optimising omni-channel ad campaigns across markets, with significant experience in Google Ads, social, and digital, both managing yourself and with media partners/agencies.
- Experience managing marketing budgets of over £2M a year for high-growth online consumer brands, either directly or through agencies.
- Experience creating attribution strategies across complex purchasing funnels, including optimising conversion events and using Google Tag Manager.
- Superb analytical capabilities including data analysis and financial/budget forecasting.
- Commercial savviness and a generalist skillset with an ability to take a loose brief and generate successful outcomes at speed.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to distil and present actionable insights from data, and explain complex information to various audiences.
- Case study examples of launching new products or markets with a test, learn, scale approach resulting in significant business growth.
