Hearing Coordinator will achieve accomplishments, manage multiple tasks collaboratively, provide solution-oriented prioritization, and proactively address potential problems. Bring creative and strategic solutions for complex problems, act as a change agent for process improvement, and challenge current thinking.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing witnesses for hearing process
- Administrative tasks related to hearing process:
- Ensuring employer documents submitted for hearing
- Registering witnesses for hearing with state agencies
- Requesting postponements when employer witnesses unavailable
- Analyzing potential further appeals on unfavorable hearing decisions
- Submitting appeals and briefs to Board of Review or Commission
Skills & Experience:
- Experience: 3+ years in unemployment claims and appeals process
- Essential: Time management, multitasking, problem-solving, autonomy
