Job Details
We’re seeking an experienced High Voltage Civil Engineer to act as the Owner’s Representative on major grid-connection projects across Europe. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of high-voltage civil works, utility/grid interface experience, and the ability to manage contractors, ensure compliance, and represent the client’s interests throughout design and construction.

- Oversee HV civil engineering packages for grid-connection projects
- Act as the client’s on-site representative with TSOs/DSOs, EPCs and contractors
- Review designs, method statements, and construction drawings
- Ensure regulatory compliance, safety standards, and quality assurance
- Manage project risks, change control, and progress reporting
- Travel as required between Ireland, London, and Frankfurt
Requirements:
- Strong background in HV substations, transmission/distribution projects, or grid-related civil works
- Experience acting in an Owner’s Engineer/Owner’s Representative capacity
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Willingness to travel periodically
