Traction is searching for a talented and passionate UX/UI Design Instructor to join our esteemed team.
As an Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of UX and UI designers. Your expertise and commitment to fostering an inclusive, innovative learning environment will empower our students.
Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development: Develop and enhance comprehensive curricula for UX/UI design courses, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Instructional Delivery: Conduct engaging classes, workshops, and design exercises.
- Design Project Facilitation: Guide students through real-world design projects.
- Design Critiques: Conduct regular design reviews to provide constructive feedback and mentorship.
- Industry Insights: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.
- Collaborative Learning: Foster an inclusive learning environment.
- Portfolio Review: Assist students in developing their design portfolios.
- Workshop & Events: Organize and participate in design workshops and events.
- Student Support: Offer guidance and support through office hours, email, and other channels.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate to enhance the learning experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
- Proven professional experience in UX/UI design with a portfolio.
- Proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD.
- In-depth understanding of UX/UI principles, UCD, and design thinking.
- Prior teaching experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for education, design, and helping others succeed.
- Ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
Remuneration: $2,500 per course.
