Full-Time Internal Auditor

The Internal Auditor conducts audits to ensure franchisee fees paid to American Dairy Queen (ADQ) are accurate and comply with contractual agreements. This role also verifies franchisee compliance with corporate policies.

• Execute assigned franchise audits, compile and analyze data.
• Verify accuracy of fees paid by franchisees.
• Analyze franchisee data and apply brand knowledge.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings with franchisees.
• Manage and approve testing procedures.
• Negotiate and collect additional royalties and advertising fees owed to ADQ.
• Review and interpret franchise agreements.
• Protect the Dairy Queen brand by ensuring proper trademark usage.
• Recommend and implement process improvements.
• Document and maintain departmental procedures.
• Promote continuous improvement and adherence to DQ Core Values.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant auditing or accounting experience.
• Prior restaurant experience (3 years preferred).
• Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools.
• Experience within a franchisor organization preferred.
• Strong creative and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Skilled negotiator with conflict resolution capabilities.
• Ability to travel up to 10% annually.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations.
