Fusion Consulting is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager with a strong focus on network infrastructure to lead and deliver complex projects in a regulated (GxP) pharmaceutical environment. This role is based in Visp, with an onsite presence of 2–3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end infrastructure projects with a primary focus on network design, upgrades, and optimization.
- Oversee project execution including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline tracking.
- Engage with cross-functional teams (internal, vendor, offshore) to ensure cohesive execution and alignment with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with GxP and other regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate effective communication and alignment across stakeholders, including senior management and technical teams.
- Identify risks early and implement robust mitigation strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensure smooth handovers, and lead post-project reviews to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 4–8 years of experience in IT infrastructure project management, with a focus on network-related initiatives.
- At least 3 infrastructure projects delivered in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, with exposure to GxP environments.
- Strong technical understanding of networking infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, and data center connectivity.
- Solid understanding of additional infrastructure areas (server, workplace systems, security) is a plus.
- Proven leadership in delivering complex, cross-functional projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow).
- PMP certification preferred; Agile/Scrum experience is an advantage.
- Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Fluent in English (German is a plus).
