In this role, you will oversee Brightspeed’s strategic management, prioritization, and execution of the organization’s IT Growth & Efficiency (G&E) portfolio.
Duties include: Leading the governance, oversight, and prioritization of the IT G&E portfolio; collaborating with senior leadership to establish portfolio priorities and allocate resources; developing, implementing, and refining portfolio management processes; establishing portfolio risk management frameworks; ensuring portfolio initiatives comply with organizational standards; Leading and coordinating Program Increment (PI) planning sessions; facilitating the prioritization and planning of features; working with Product Owners and business stakeholders; fostering collaboration and continuous improvement; overseeing the execution of PI sprints; leading and mentoring a high-performing team; facilitating communication and collaboration; establishing performance metrics; serving as the primary point of contact for senior business leaders; preparing and presenting portfolio status reports; driving transparency and accountability; championing best practices in IT portfolio management; overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation; managing procurement and vendor relationships.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master) preferred; 8+ years of experience in IT portfolio management, project management, and/or Agile delivery; 5+ years in a leadership role; proven track record in managing large-scale IT portfolios; expertise in leading PI planning and sprint management; strong knowledge of Agile methodologies; telecommunications industry experience; deep understanding of portfolio management frameworks, Agile practices, and IT governance; strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
