Job Details
CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Lead Gameplay Programmer for Cyberpunk 2, the next major game in the Cyberpunk franchise.
Responsibilities:
- Manage direct reports and support their growth.
- Guide the team to build high-quality gameplay systems in Unreal Engine.
- Foster cross-team collaboration for efficient development.
- Contribute to roadmapping and planning efforts.
- Collaborate with designers and artists to align on expectations.
- Ensure designers have efficient workflows and tools.
- Write optimized, bug-free code aligned with project goals.
Requirements:
- Solid management skills with 1+ year of team management experience.
- 7+ years of professional programming experience in the games industry.
- Excellent proficiency in C++ programming.
- Knowledge of 3D math and linear algebra.
- Ability to overcome technical challenges and drive innovation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to evaluate gameplay experience.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine and a shipped project using Unreal.
- Experience with current-gen console hardware.
- Experience working with multi-threaded systems.
