WHAT DOES THE MANAGER, MEDIA OPERATIONS DO?The Media Operations Manager partners with Media Finance and strategic media planning teams to approve and reconcile media spend. They develop systems for Paid Search, Programmatic, and Paid Social channels. The Media Operations Manager approves display media invoices and reconciles monthly, tracks approved media SOWs and ATBs, and attends monthly meetings.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Advertising, Media Studies or Communications
- Minimum 5 years experience in media finance or managing medium-to-large scale media campaigns (digital and non-digital)
- Strong experience with Media Ocean
- Exceptional knowledge of media buying process
- Experience communicating with senior stakeholders (internal and agency)
- Ability to lead meetings, connect deliverables with client communications, and multitask
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiating, influencing, organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, ability to anticipate and assess risk
- Professional maturity, ability to remain calm and handle issues professionally
- Strong time management and personal organization skills
- Strong decision-making and facilitation skills
- Ability to foster and drive collaboration
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree in a related field
- Experience in life sciences or healthcare
- Familiarity with global markets and cultural nuances
