Full-Time Manager of Accounting (US Focus)

We are seeking a hands-on Lead Accountant to add to our global accounting team. This role will work with our US finance team based out of Massachusetts, USA.

• Handling the USA general ledger close process.
• Key member of the team working on technical accounting.
• Preparation of consolidated financials in NetSuite.
• Managing transfer pricing with foreign subsidiaries.

We are looking for a CPA with 7-10 years of experience, preferably in an international SaaS technology corporation with experience working with Revenue Recognition.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare reconciliations for monthly and yearly General Ledger close.
• Prepare monthly global consolidated financials with assistance from Corporate Controller and foreign subsidiaries.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reporting packages and corporate income tax returns.
• Assist with technical accounting research and implementation as needed.
• Assist with software implementation (NetSuite or other software) and potential acquisition accounting as company continues to grow.
• Other ad hoc projects as requested by CFO and Corporate Controller.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Public accounting experience required; CPA in USA or Certificado from the Instituto Mexicano de Contadores Públicos preferred (active or inactive).
• 10-15 years of accounting experience, preferably at a SaaS company.
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting and taxes (payroll, sales tax and multi-state corporate income taxes).
• Advanced excel skills, experience closing month end periods in accounting software system.
• Hands-on experience with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
