We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Marketing Automation & eCommerce Manager to spearhead our digital marketing and eCommerce strategies. This role will be responsible for managing marketing automation platforms, optimizing online sales, and enhancing customer engagement through data-driven campaigns. LI-COR is a fast-paced, growing environmental monitoring business addressing global issues such as food security, water management, energy sustainability, and climate change mitigation. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in utilizing marketing automation across various digital channels to drive sales and optimize the ecommerce buying journey. They must have a passion for analytics and continual improvement and preferably love science!

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing automation strategies to nurture leads, improve customer retention, and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage and optimize eCommerce platforms to enhance user experience, boost conversion rates, and increase online sales.
  • Implement and oversee marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot) for email marketing, lead scoring, segmentation, and CRM integration.
  • Analyze marketing and eCommerce performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, IT, and Creative, to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Create and manage targeted email campaigns, landing pages, and automated workflows.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing automation and eCommerce.
  • Plan, execute, test, and report on various marketing automation campaigns (including inbound, lead nurturing, lead scoring, and lead management).
  • Provide detailed reporting and analysis on program performance and funnel attribution.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns through iteration, A/B testing, and data analysis.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Pardot, Salesforce, and other marketing automation tools.
  • Assess current marketing infrastructure, architecture, and strategies, driving continuous improvements.
  • Utilize paid and organic marketing tools to monitor traffic data and adjust strategies accordingly.

Professional Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing automation and eCommerce, including owning the responsibility for the platform.
  • Proven expertise in using marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, or similar) and eCommerce systems (e.g., iShop, BigCommerce).
  • Proven ability to use analytics to optimize customer experiences and deliver on business objectives.
  • Process and have a deep understanding of the marketing landscape within these industries.
  • Expertise in paid and organic search marketing, particularly Google Ads.
  • Strong understanding of GA4 standards and how they compare to Universal Analytics.
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Ads, keywords, tag management, bidding strategies, and related platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience integrating CRM systems with marketing technologies.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and paid media strategies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration.
  • Certifications in marketing automation tools or eCommerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and basic web development concepts.
