Full-Time Marketing Automation Specialist

We're seeking a talented Marketing Automation Specialist to join the Marketing Automation team at carsales.

You'll be a hands-on technical expert with a strong understanding of marketing automation across various channels (email, push notifications, in-app messaging). You'll also have advanced experience with marketing automation platforms.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing personalized marketing automation journeys.
• Utilizing data and insights to identify growth opportunities and build audiences/triggers/messages.
• Employing a test-and-learn approach (A/B testing) to optimize journeys and campaigns.
• Collaborating with other teams (brand, product marketing, content) to identify opportunities and drive optimizations.
• Analyzing marketing automation performance and reporting results.
• Participating in innovation, development, and implementation of new features/system integration.
• Monitoring industry best practices and emerging trends.

Qualifications:

• Advanced experience in marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, etc).
• Understanding of audience data and using SQL for audience segmentation and data processes.
• Experience with SQL/SSJS and APIs to ingest data into platforms.
• HTML, CSS, and AMPScript experience.
• Experience reporting on marketing automation performance (Google Analytics experience a plus).
• Proven experience developing digital customer experiences.
• Commercial acumen and experience connecting marketing to revenue outcomes.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective stakeholder management (business & technical).
• Experience with CDPs is desirable.
