This role supports Esperanza Resort and Chileno Bay Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and can be remotely based in Los Angeles, CA. The Marketing Manager serves as a critical role in developing and executing marketing strategies for the property.
This property-based role will execute on the marketing strategy and drive social media, public relations, digital and ecommerce and ensure all communications align with the property positionings.
In addition, this role will implement and support communications strategies for relevant partnerships, sponsorships and unique one-of-a-kind experiences working with the Area Director of Marketing.
Drive awareness and revenue generation for new hotel openings - rooms, F&B, spa and experiences.
Oversee website management including copy writing and review, image and video selects.
Create unique and story-telling driven property collateral. Email cadence, planning and execution.
Coordinate the production of digital marketing creative asset development and work closely with the digital marketing team to support plan execution in order to create awareness for new openings.
Support the sales efforts with best-in-class collateral to support sales efforts.
Execute a social media plan to aligns with the brand strategy. Drive and adapt as needed the hotel marketing plan.
Support the creation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports and presentations for owners and relevant stakeholders.
Assist with marketing partnership & events
Creation of marketing collateral Website and digital oversight for both resorts.
The Marketing Manager role offers a base salary range of $85-95k USD plus an annual bonus as well as comprehensive medical, dental, vision and voluntary benefits, 401k employer match, employer paid life insurance and an employee assistance program and a team member hotel stay program.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of experience in brand marketing & communications
- Strong understanding of a luxury brand and aesthetic
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communications skills
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to work with and support cross-functional project teams
- Ability to take ideas from initiation to execution; adapt and revise plans as developments necessitate in real time
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out and provide instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to independently solve problems and make decisions with several variables.
- Computer Literate: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Google Mail and Google Docs, Canva.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite a plus: Indesign, Photoshop
