WHAT DOES A MARKETING MANAGER II DO?We are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the seamless execution of a diverse range of marketing projects in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
This role involves leading internal and external day-to-day operations and managing low-to-medium complexity tactical projects.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Marketing Manager will ensure projects are meticulously planned, implemented, and delivered on time and within budget, adhering to high-quality process standards.
The ideal candidate must possess project management expertise and marketing acumen, driving initiative success while fostering client and partner agency relationships.
This role involves co-owning projects, contributing to comprehensive project plans, and delivering submissions for regulatory review.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven track record and agency experience.
- Experience in a regulated environment (preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in Account and/or Project Management.
- Proactive, solution-driven self-starter with excellent organization skills.
- Strong attention to detail, client service focus, and client-agency liaison experience.
- High performance in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Understanding of foundational project management skills and leading teams through project lifecycles.
- Scope and change management experience.
- Familiarity with project burn analysis, communication, action planning and mitigation.
- Ability to identify and escalate project risks.
- Experience building timelines and project estimates.
- Basic understanding of Project Management Information Systems (Workfront, Workfront Proof, Smartsheet, MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel).
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Building trusting relationships (internal and external).
- Positive attitude, negotiation skills, accountability, and ownership of actions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, multitasking, problem-solving, and independent/teamwork abilities.
- Periodic travel required.
