POSITION OVERVIEWOur Marketing Media Specialists wear many hats – they could also be called Digital Advertising Specialists, Advertising Strategists, or Digital Advertising Account Managers. No matter what we call them, they focus their energy on aligning with the account teams on Amazon initiatives and focusing on the optimization of digital advertising for strategic manufacturers. They must exercise discretion and independent judgement while troubleshooting and resolving issues with internal marketing/sales, retailers and manufacturers. Our ideal candidate for this position is a confident self-starter who possesses efficient organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Grow brand awareness and sales by utilizing Amazon tools, including Amazon Sponsored Advertising
- Maintain strong business relationships with key clients
- Maintain proper spending within allocated budgets determined by key stakeholders
- Coordinate with account leaders to execute strategies and tactics for marketing, advertising and brand development
- Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for brands to identify trends with optimization insights and accelerate growth
- Work internally and externally to identify client goals & objectives to build media plans that align with the overall brand growth strategy
Knowledge/Skills
- Partner with media analysts to identify trends and proposed optimizations to continue meeting/exceeding established goals
- Actively seek out new Amazon product offerings and BETAs that can be utilized with our clients
- Build trainings to share best practices with other media specialists
- Experience with digital marketing, search engine marketing, programmatic media buying
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Amazon tools, including the Amazon Advertising suite of solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Ability to analyze large data sets and identify trends to inform the business
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to problem-solve and multitask
- Certification in Amazon Advertising is a plus
Requirements
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- 2 - 5 years of marketing experience
- Experience with Amazon Advertising or other retail media channels
- Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level in order to efficiently manipulate large sets of data for analysis.
Preferred experience: Downstream, Tableau, Skai, Jungle Scout/Cobalt, Criteo/Citrus Ads and Retailer ad console platforms
