Role Overview: Marketing Lead – Sponsorships & Strategic Initiatives Sporting Bet Brazil is seeking a Marketing Lead to drive impactful sports sponsorship initiatives, focused on delivering measurable results across three major assets: A year-long partnership with a domestic football club. A league-level sponsorship with an international sports property (e.g., NFL). A season-long sponsorship of the Brazilian Championship (38 matches). Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role operates within Sporting Bet’s internal marketing team, while execution is facilitated through agency-based squads. The Marketing Lead will act as a strategic partner to agency Product Owners (P.O.s), ensuring smooth workflows, enhanced delivery capacity, and cross-initiative alignment.
Strategic Planning: Consolidate all sponsorship activities into a unified calendar. Prioritize and tier initiatives to ensure optimal impact and ROI. Develop and maintain a streamlined, forward-looking plan to ensure initiatives run concurrently without conflict.
Delivery & Execution: Optimize agency squad performance to balance workloads and drive seamless execution across all initiatives. Ensure clear timelines, milestones, and resource allocation for each sponsorship initiative.
Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with the Head of Branding to integrate brand storytelling and key messaging into sponsorship activations. Maintain alignment with the Head of Marketing on overall strategy, progress, and results.
Resource Management: Tier initiatives to strategically allocate time, budget, and talent across high-impact opportunities. Drive financial efficiency through ROI-focused decision-making.
Collaborative Leadership: Serve as a strategic partner to agency-based squads and P.O.s, ensuring workflows are efficient, goal-driven, and conflict-free. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages agility, alignment, and clarity.
Audience Insights: Leverage fan behavior insights and emotional triggers to create campaigns that engage audiences and drive betting activity.
Ambiguity Management: Manage overlapping priorities with focus and precision, ensuring timely and effective delivery of all initiatives.
Visibility & Reporting: Maintain visibility into initiative progress, results, and strategic adjustments. Proactively update leadership on milestones and outcomes.
