What a Media Planner Does:
Assists in developing, evaluating, and managing digital and non-digital media plans for pharmaceutical clients to meet requirements, budgets, and objectives.
Develops and manages the RFP process and assists in evaluating proposals.
Maintains responsive working relationships with external media vendors and internal agency teams.
Maintains rapport with media publishers through daily interaction.
Works closely with account, project management, media subject-matter-expert, and analytics teams for flawless media schedule execution.
Stays abreast of new and emerging technologies and opportunities to provide agency perspectives.
Manages campaign creation, insertion orders, system updates and launch, budgets, and invoice process.
Analyzes campaign performance, assists with regular pacing and campaign reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Media Studies, Communications, or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in media planning and buying.
- Online media background.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
- Experience with media tools (e.g., Prisma, DCM, DoubleVerify) preferred.
- Experience with syndicated research tools (e.g., Kantar, MRI) and competitive tracking tools is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, strong presentation and cross-functional communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and be a team player in a fast-paced environment.
