What a Media Planner does: Assists in developing, evaluating, and managing digital and non-digital media plans for pharmaceutical clients. Develops and manages RFPs and helps evaluate proposals. Maintains relationships with external media vendors and internal agency teams. Interacts with media publishers and works with account, project management, media subject-matter-expert, and analytics teams to ensure media schedules are flawless. Stays current with new technologies and execution opportunities, providing agency perspectives on new opportunities relating to client objectives. Manages campaign creation, insertion orders, system updates, launches, budgets, and invoice process. Analyzes campaign performance, assists with pacing, and supports regular campaign reporting.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, media studies, communications, or equivalent education + 1-2 years experience in media planning and buying.
- Online media background.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
- Experience with media tools (e.g., Prisma, DCM, DoubleVerify) is preferred.
- Experience with syndicated research tools (e.g., Kantar, MRI) and competitive tracking tools is a plus.
- Detail-oriented.
- Strong presentation and cross-functional communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and be a team player in a fast-paced environment.
